How Can swelling And Pain In The Ankle Along With Cough Be Treated?

I have gained a significant amount of weight, swelling in my ankles is getting worse, shortness of breath, lack of appetite and a chronic cough that began in 2010. In 2016 a cat scan of of my lungs showed I have nodules on both lungs. My mom had COPD (I was given the blood test for COPD and it was negative). Both parents had heart problems. I have never been overweight, although my family is overweight, however I have gained 30 lbs in six months. Weigh more than I did when I was pregnant with any of my three normal delivered children.
